Sister is inspired by Sister Aine Cox MBE, the founder of the local hospice movement in Lancaster. Reading about her work and thinking about the connotations of being a 'sister' lead me to think about all sorts of female relationships, being a daughter, a friend, a partner.
In this track, each of the band represent a different quality or role, with the drums being the cheeky younger sibling (haha - see if you can spot why!).
